This is a refreshing and different way of serving broccoli to your kids. They get to eat TREES... Thanks to my Mom, Joanna for teaching me that cooking and eating can be fun.

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches broccoli, fresh or frozen florets
  • 3 - fresh lemons, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic sliced
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • - salt and peper to taste

How To Make italian broccoli salad

  • Step 1
    Clean and steam Broccoli until fork tender. Drain and cool in serving dish.
  • Step 2
    Juice the lemons. Peel and slice garlic cloves. Place garlic slices in amongst the cooling broccoli. Salt and pepper to taste, pour lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil over the broccoli and garlic. Chill in the refrigerator covered until serving time.
