honey marinated cucumbers
This was clipped from an old recipe pamphlet. They're quick and easy to make, though you have to wait 48 hours to eat them! They're great in the summer, when cucumbers are coming out your ears and the kids are constantly begging for a snack.

Ingredients
- 8 cups cucumbers, sliced
- 1 cup white or red onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 cup honey
- 1/4-/12 cup white vinegar
How To Make honey marinated cucumbers

Step 1In a large bowl, combine cucumbers, onions and salt. Stir well. Let stand 2 hours. Drain well (DO NOT RINSE). Add honey and vinegar; mix well. Refrigerate 48 hours before serving.
