This is my own original version of a healthy veggie salad I created. I made this for a family gathering and everyone enjoyed it and gave out the recipe to several family members. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as we do.

Ingredients
- 2 heads - brocoli finely chopped
- 5 - baby carrots, shredded
- 1/4 cup - finely chopped purple onion
- 3/4 cup - cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 tablespoons bacon bits
- 1/8 cup - sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup - craisins
- DRESSING:
- 1/4 cup - mayonnaise, light
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
How To Make healthy veggie slaw

Step 1Mix the first seven ingredients together. Mix up the dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Add to the salad. Mix gently. Refrigerate. This is better made a day in advance to allow the dressing to marinate the veggies.
