I learned this from my mother-in-law.It's great for picnics,Thanksgiving or anytime.

Ingredients

  • 5 medium carrots
  • 2 - green bell peppers
  • 2 - cucumbers
  • 1 medium sweet onion
  • 2 medium cabbage heads
  • 1 large lettuce head
  • 2 cups karo syrup
  • 2 cups white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

How To Make health salad

  • Step 1
    Wash all veggies.Clean bell peppers,cabbages &lettuce.Chop all veggies(even lettuce)in food processor like for coleslaw.In large bowl mix veggies with syrup,oil,& vinager.Store in a gal size container in fridge.A gal jar works great.Make at least 1 day ahead for best results.Dip out with slotted spoon.Goes with most any thing!!!

    For diabetics delete kyro & add sweetner to taste.
