Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
  • 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sumac (optional)
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup watercress
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds

How To Make gavurdagi salad

  • Step 1
    In a small glass, mix oil and pomegranate molasses until blended. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, mix the chopped onions with the spices and seasoning.
  • Step 3
    Add the tomatoes, parsley and walnuts to the onions. Add the oil mixture and toss gently.
  • Step 4
    Stir in the watercress and combine well. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds over the salad and serve.
