frozen cranberry--banana salad
This recipe was given to me by a friend. It is very good and yummy.Try it and you might like it also. Makes a festive dish during the holidays.

- 1 can pineapple tidbits, drained {20 ounces}
- 5 large firm bananas,halved length-wise, sliced
- 1 can whole-berry cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1====20 ounce whipped topping, thawed
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make frozen cranberry--banana salad

Step 1Drain pineapple juice into a medium bowl; set pineapple aside. Add bananas to juice. In a large bowl, combine cranberry sauce and sugar. Remove bananas, discarding juice, and add to cranberry mixture. Stir in pineapple, whipped topping and nuts.Pour into a 13x9 pan. Freeze until solid. About 3 hours. Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before serving.
