Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    broccoli florets
  • 12 slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 box
    golden raisins
  • 1/2 c
    toasted almonds or pecans
  • 2
    apples, diced
  • 4 oz
    cheese, schredded, optional
  • DRESSING

  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c
    white vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    sugar

How to Make Fresh Broccoli Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar in small bowl and mix until smooth to make the dressing.
  2. Combine all salad ingredients, except bacon, in large bowl. Pour dressing over salad and stir until well coated.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, better if left overnight. Add bacon just before serving.
