I got this many years ago from a good friend .You must let stand for 24 hours to get the full flavors .

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons mustard seed
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons celery salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 - onion sliced
  • 1 - tomatoe sliced
  • 1 - green pepper sliced
  • 1 - red pepper sliced

How To Make fire and ice salad

  • Step 1
    boil all ingredients except the vegetables, in a pot and let cool.
  • Step 2
    slice and combine all the vegetables, add the cooled dressing , mix well and soak over night.
  • Step 3
    this recipe can be used on any raw vegetable.
