How to Make Elf Bait Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Use a glass flat bottomed bowl for this, 3-4 quart capacity, approximately 10-12" in diameter at least 4 " deep.
  2. Wash and chop spinach place in bottom of bowl. Layer remaining ingredients, one at a time, in the order listed above, up through the frozen peas
  3. Pack the salad down slightly, then spread the sour cream-mayonnaise mixture over the top so the entire surface is covered. Ingredients must be completely sealed, the elves demand it!
  4. Cover with plastic wrap (no exception here!) and refrigerate overnight. Just before serving, remove plastic wrap and garnish with Swiss cheese and tomatoes.
