Crispy Sour Dough Croutons

These are so much better tasting than store bought croutons! So much better than store bought and so easy to make!

  • 1/2
    loaf sour dough bread
  • 1 stick
    unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    dried parsley flakes

How to Make Crispy Sour Dough Croutons


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Spread cubed bread onto a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes, cool completely
    When croutons are completely cool, melt butter and wisk with seasonings until smooth and frothy
  3. Gently toss croutons with melted butter until well coated
  4. Return croutons to a 350 degree oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until desired level of doneness. Let cool and add to salad
