copycat kfc coleslaw
I found this online during the summer, I made a double batch and took it to my niece that was staying with her 4yr old daughter at the local hospital. She shared it with the staff, we had people for all the other floors coming to get some they loved it.

Ingredients
- 1 large green cabbage(finely shredded)
- 1 medium carrots, grated
- 1 small onion
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
How To Make copycat kfc coleslaw

Step 1Place onion in a mini chopper and pulse on high until its pureed.(you can also use a blender)

Step 2take Shredded Cabbage, grated Carrot, and pureed onion into a large bowl (glass or plastic) and toss until well mixed. set aside

Step 3in a medium bowl mix all other ingredients until all incorporated.

Step 4Pour over cabbage mixture. Toss well to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and chill over night. (you can also serve after chilling for 1 hr. over night tastes better)
