I found this online during the summer, I made a double batch and took it to my niece that was staying with her 4yr old daughter at the local hospital. She shared it with the staff, we had people for all the other floors coming to get some they loved it.

Ingredients

  • 1 large
    green cabbage(finely shredded)
  • 1 medium
    carrots, grated
  • 1 small
    onion
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/3 c
    white sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    white vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    buttermilk
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
    lemon juice

How to Make COPYCAT KFC Coleslaw

Step-by-Step

  1. Place onion in a mini chopper and pulse on high until its pureed.(you can also use a blender)
  2. take Shredded Cabbage, grated Carrot, and pureed onion into a large bowl (glass or plastic) and toss until well mixed. set aside
  3. in a medium bowl mix all other ingredients until all incorporated.
  4. Pour over cabbage mixture. Toss well to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and chill over night. (you can also serve after chilling for 1 hr. over night tastes better)
