Ingredients
- 1 pound carrots, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced thinly
- 1 cup tomato soup
- 1 cup sugar, scant
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
How To Make copper pennies

Step 1Cook carrots in salted water until medium done,. Rinse in ice water.

Step 2In a dish, arrange layers of carrots, green pepper and onion.

Step 3Combine all other ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil, Stirring until fully blended. Pour mixture over layered vegetables. Refrigerate until flavor is absorbed. Will keep for weeks.
