Recipe from cookbook "Favorite Recipes of Pryor First Free Will Baptist Church. This recipe is heavenly, if like chinese flavored cooking and I do. I hope all enjoy this as I do.

  • 1 large
    and 1 small head of napa cabbage
  • 5
    green onions, chopped
  • 1
    stick butter, may use less
  • 2 pkg
    ramen noodles crumbled (don't use seasoning packet)
  • 1 pkg
    slivered almonds
  • 1
    bottle sesame seeds
  • 1 cup
    sugar, or to taste, or substitute
  • 3/4
    cup oil
  • 1/4
    cup vinegar
  • 2 tbs
    soy sauce, or to taste

How to Make Chinese Cabbage Salad


  1. Mix chopped cabbage and onions. Chill. Melt butter. Add noodles, seeds, and almonds. Brown in skillet until light brown. Mix sugar, oil, vinegar, and soy sauce well. Add to salad 20 minutes before serving.
