Try this spicy/sweet coleslaw at your next bbq. Feel free to add some shredded red cabbage for color and flavor)

  • 4 c
    shredded green cabbage
  • 1/2 c
    nuts, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    dry jerk seasoning (or to taste)
  • 3/4 c
    carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    cider vinegar

How to Make Caribbean Coleslaw


  1. Combine the shredded cabbage, carrots and nuts in a large bowl and set aside.
  2. Mix together the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and jerk seasoning.
  3. Spoon the mayo mixture over the cabbage mixture. Toss well.
  4. Cover and refrigerate before serving.
