Try this spicy/sweet coleslaw at your next bbq. Feel free to add some shredded red cabbage for color and flavor)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dry jerk seasoning (or to taste)
  • 3/4 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar

How To Make caribbean coleslaw

  • Step 1
    Combine the shredded cabbage, carrots and nuts in a large bowl and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Mix together the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and jerk seasoning.
  • Step 3
    Spoon the mayo mixture over the cabbage mixture. Toss well.
  • Step 4
    Cover and refrigerate before serving.
