This is our favorite broccoli salad recipe. I have tried others but keep coming back to this.

  • 2-3 bunch
    broccoli florets
  • 3-4
    green onions (chopped)
  • 3/4 c
    cashew halves
  • 3/4 c
    raisins or cranraisins
  • 6 slice
    crisp bacon

How to Make Broccoli Salad


  1. Combine all salad ingredients in large bowl. In small bowl, wisk together 1 cup mayonnaise, 5 Tbsps red wine vinegar, 3 Tbsps sugar, and a dash of black pepper. Pour dressing over salad and refrigerate 3-4 hours or overnight to develop flavors. Enjoy!
  2. Water chestnuts can be substituted for cashews.
