This is our favorite broccoli salad recipe. I have tried others but keep coming back to this.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 bunches broccoli florets
  • 3-4 - green onions (chopped)
  • 3/4 cup cashew halves
  • 3/4 cup raisins or cranraisins
  • 6 slices crisp bacon

How To Make broccoli salad

  • Step 1
    Combine all salad ingredients in large bowl. In small bowl, wisk together 1 cup mayonnaise, 5 Tbsps red wine vinegar, 3 Tbsps sugar, and a dash of black pepper. Pour dressing over salad and refrigerate 3-4 hours or overnight to develop flavors. Enjoy!

    Water chestnuts can be substituted for cashews.
