This recipe was given to me by an neighbor (who is an excellent cook) many years ago. It is very tasty. the only cooking involved here is to hard boil the eggs .
Easy to assemble and feeds a lot. Although. I haven't made this for a number of years . This salad would be a great take to a potluck BBQ or picnic.

Ingredients

  • ·
    1 head of lettuce, washed and rough chopped
  • ·
    1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • ·
    1 cup diced celery
  • ·
    1/2 cup diced green peper
  • ·
    1 cup (10 oz) frozen peas
  • ·
    6 hard boiled eggs, chopped

How to Make 7 Layer (Millionaire's) Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Layer in no particular order but must start with lettuce and end with lettuce.
  2. Peas must go in just before the last layer of lettuce
  3. COMBINE:
  4. 1 cup Miracle Whip (you can use Mayonnaise/ Salad Dressing)
  5. 1 cup sour cream
  6. 1 cup Honey Dijon Ranch and put on top of the salad
  7. Top with grated cheddar cheese
  8. Refrigerate at least 8 hrs.

    I usually make it the evening before
