Grandma Gilbert's Raspberry Salad

This is a refreshing gelatin salad that is very light and perfect for any time of the year... especially summer gatherings. The addition of applesauce really makes an impact. Love it! The Test Kitchen
3 chot water
3 pkg(regular size) raspberry jello
2 pkgfrozen raspberries in syrup - thawed
3 cmarshmallows, mini
1 csour cream
1 cwhipped topping, thawed
How to Make Grandma Gilbert's Raspberry Salad
- Mix hot water and pkgs of jello (1 at a time) In 9x13 pan
- Add apple sauce and raspberries and mix well. Place in fridge overnite. Before bed, mix together sour cream and marshmallows and cover with plastic wrap and leave ON COUNTER overnite.
- Next morning, mix marshmallows and sour cream with mixer til creamy. Mix in 1 cup whip cream and spread on top of jello. cut into squares and serve each on iceberg lettuce leaf.
