I have always made this for my family though started out making it with Lime flavor. It can be made with any flavor of jello. Though recently we tried it with Cherry and now it is our favorite. So easy to make to carry for a church diner, work or picnic. I evn add to it for the holidays. Colorful and tasty!

How to Make Cherry Delight

Step-by-Step

  1. This so easy. Can be made right before serving or can be made the night before and stored in an air tight container till serving time.
  2. In a bowl or storage container, dump the ingredients as follows:
  3. cool-whip
    cottage cheese
    pineapple
    dry jello flavor.
  4. Stir all together till cmplettly mixed. I use a clear bowl, so I can hold it up to be sure all is mixed together.
  5. Place in refrigerater, with air tight lid. Can be made up early or when ready to serve. Can keep in refrigerator up to a week. Just stir before serving.
  6. At Holiday time~
I make this and add Marshchino cherries without stems, walnuts or pecan pieces and sometimes minature colored marshmellows, serve in a clear bowl. I either top it off with a cherry on top or a cherry and whole nuts around the outer part of the center.
