I love this simple salad, fresh ingredients really shine through with my favorite vinegar~Balsamic!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh mozzarella
  • 1 pound ripe tomatoes
  • - fresh whole large basil leaves as needed
  • - salt & ground pepper
  • VINAIGRETTE DRESSING
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon dijon-style mustard
  • - pinch of salt, pepper & sugar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

How To Make tomato-fresh mozzarella salad

  • Step 1
    Prepare Vinaigrette Dressing. Cut mozzarella in 1/4-inch slices. Cut tomatoes into 1/4-inch slices. Alternate mozzarella slices, tomato slices and basil leaves, overlapping on plate. Drizzle with dressing; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Vinaigrette Dressing: Whisk vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper and sugar in small bowl until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use. Whisk again before serving. 9 points per serving
