This is a very light salad that is probably best during the summer months but I enjoy it any time of the year.

Ingredients

  • 1
    head romaine lettuce
  • ·
    grated parmesan cheese
  • ·
    fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    grey poupon mustard
  • 1 - 2 clove
    garlic, chopped real fine or crushed
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice

How to Make Romaine Lettuce Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Whisk the grey poupon mustard, garlic, olive oil and lemon juice in a large salad bowl until infused together. Add crisp romaine lettuce and toss until all the lettuce is well coated. Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese and sprinkle with fresh ground black pepper. This is so tasty!
