Ingredients

  • 1 large
    red bell pepper
  • 1 large
    green bell peppers
  • 1 medium
    seedless cucumber
  • 1 large
    yellow tomato
  • 1 small
    red onion
  • 1 large
    minced garlic clove
  • 1/2 c
    fresh basil
  • 4 c
    easy cheese pizza or croutons
  • 6 Tbsp
    white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground pepper

How to Make Pretty Panzanella Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Chop peppers,cucumber, tomato,onion and garlic. Combine in large bowl.-
  2. Add 1/2 cup packed fresh basil (roughly chopped)and 4 cups cubed pizza (2 slices) or croutons
    I always add fresh spinach to all my salads...
  3. Whisk together 6 tablespoons white wine vinegar, olive oil, salt & pepper - dress salad
    Toss, and let sit for 15 minutes before serving
    Garnish with whole basil leaves
