Ingredients

  • 2 large red onions, finely chopped
  • 4 - green onions with tops, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

How To Make pickled onion salad

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, combine the onions, vinegar, oil, and sugar. Stir and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  • Step 2
    Just before serving, stir in the cilantro and sprinkle salad with lime juice. Serve heaped on lettuce leaves.
