    red onions, finely chopped
  • 4
    green onions with tops, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    lime juice

How to Make PICKLED ONION SALAD

Step-by-Step

  1. In a small bowl, combine the onions, vinegar, oil, and sugar. Stir and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  2. Just before serving, stir in the cilantro and sprinkle salad with lime juice. Serve heaped on lettuce leaves.
