Just romaine lettuce and all the toppings that I like - use the dressing that is with the "It's the Berries" salad recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    romaine lettuce, washed, dried and torn into bit-sized pieces
  • 1/2 pt
    fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 c
    minced red onion
  • 1/2 c
    toasted chopped pecans
  • 1.4 c
    bleu cheese crumbles
  • 6 slice
    cooked and crumbled bacon

How to Make Penny's Favorite Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Gently toss the romaine, red onion, raspberries, and pecans.
  2. Serve the salad with the bacon and bleu cheese on the side so your vegetarian friends can eat the salad too. Go ahead and substitute feta for the bleu cheese if you like that better.
  3. Use this dressing on the salad:
    It's the Berries Spinach Salad
