My husband just loves this salad. His mom makes this for him for a special treat. And now I am caring on the tradition, sort of, except that I probably do not make it as much as she did. This is a very simple salad to make. (I usually have hard boiled eggs on hand) I also think I will add some crumbled bacon next time. That may make my salad a little more special for him. I remembered to take a photo before it was all gone.

  • A few sweet pickles on the side.

Add drained green beans and add seasoning to your taste. Add mayonnaise and mix. You may add more or less mayonnaise depending on the size of your head of lettuce.

Set the salad in the refrigerator until time for dinner. This salad is better if you make an hour before dinner so that the flavors can blend. You can also just use just salt and pepper to taste but I think the seasonings taste better.
