- 1/2 cup green pepper chopped
- 1 - red onion sliced
- 8 slices bacon (fried and crumbled)2
- 1/2 cup ribs of celery, chopped
- 1 package frozen peas thawed
- 1 pint jar hellman's mayonnaise
- 12 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons sugar
How To Make make ahead layer salad

Step 1Layer lettuce, green pepper, celery, frozen peas and red onion

Step 2Spread mayonnaise on top; sprinkle sugar evenly over mayonnaise

Step 3Layer cheddar cheese; refrigerate 8 t0 24 hours before serving; place last layer of bacon on before serving so it is crisp.
