layered cauliflower salad
My Son-in-law loves this salad. I always double it when I know he's going to be at the dinner table. That way I know there will be some leftovers for him! This is one of those salads that tastes even better on the second day.

Ingredients
- 1 small head cauliflower, cut into bite size pieces
- 1 small head of lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
- 1 small purple onion, diced
- 1/2 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
How To Make layered cauliflower salad

Step 1Layer lettuce*, cauliflower and onion in a 3 qt. bowl.

Step 2Mix the mayonaise, sugar, and milk together and spread evenlyh over top, sealing to the edge of the bowl.

Step 3Sprinkle bacon and parmesan cheese over the mayonaise mixture.

Step 4Garnish with a little more chopped lettuce and onion for additional color. Cover salad tightly and refrigerate for at least 12 hours

Step 5NOTE: After washing the lettuce make sure it is very dry.
