Ingredients

  • DRESSING
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • SALAD
  • 1 small head lettuce, torn
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can (2-1/4 ounces) sliced ripe olives, drained
  • 1 medium tomato, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese

How To Make italian salad

  • Step 1
    In a bowl, whisk the first seven ingredients; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, onions, celery, mozzarella cheese, olives and tomato. Just before serving, add the dressing and toss. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. 7 points per serving
