My girlfriend at work told me that she did this over the weekend, so I just had to try it!! I think I would add minced garlic next time though~ But she used Romaine, I did Iceberg...will do Romaine next time.

Ingredients

  • 1 - head of lettuce
  • 10 - slices mozzarella
  • - adobo seasoning
  • - garlic powder
  • - italian seasoning
  • - olive oil
  • - italian dressing
  • - black pepper
  • - coarse sea salt

How To Make amy's saladelia

  • Step 1
    Slam off the core of the lettuce and cut in half.
  • Step 2
    Drizzle olive oil around the lettuce, trying evenly coat. (All around the lettuce, don't miss a place!)
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle all of the seasonings around the lettuce, again, trying to coat evenly.
  • Step 4
    Stick 5 slices of mozzarella in one of the halves, and 5 in the other.
  • Step 5
    Place foil on the grill, not on direct flame, and cook each side until tender.
  • Step 6
    Drizzle italian dressing over the heads, cut if you wish and serve!!
