this is a nice fruity crunchy side for the holidays and it's not too hard on the waist either.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups unpeeled, cored diced apples, use 2 diferent colors
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, coarse chop
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • - dressing:
  • 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

How To Make waldorf salad

  • Step 1
    Boil dressing ingredients until thickened, cover and chill 2 hours.
  • Step 2
    Combine all salad ingredients together, then toss with dressing. Let stand a few minutes before serving
