I just made this for me and my children. I love to hear their little moans when I make them healthy food and they love it.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup strawberries, hulled
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon red vinegar (i used pomegranite)
  • 3/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 3/4 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup toasted walnuts
  • - spinach, fresh
  • 2 - bananas
  • 1/2 cup toasted sunflower seeds
  • - cheese (to taste)
  • 2 - mangoes

How To Make strawberry mango salad

  • Step 1
    Dressing: Put 1/2c strawberries in blender, blend until smooth. Add sugar and vinegar, blend. Add yogurt, blend. Pour into bowl, stir in poppy seeds. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Step 2
    Layer Spinach, strawberries, mango, cheese, and nuts on plates, drizzle dressing over.
  • Step 3
    Other ideas I had for this were dried cranberries, raisins, grapes, or kiwi. All would have been great. The measurements on the actural salad can vary, just use what you have and what you need for each plate.
