Southern Ambrosia Fruit Salad

1 can(s)20oz pineapple chunks drained well
1 can(s)15-20oz mandarin orange sections drained well
2med. apples- diced (any kind-i prefer gala apples)
1 csweetened coconut flakes *
1/2 cpecans, finely chopped *
1 1/2 cmarshmallows, mini *
1/2 cmaraschino cherries, halved *
1 Tbspjuice from maraschino cherries *
8 ozsour cream
How to Make Southern Ambrosia Fruit Salad
- Drain pineapple and oranges well and pour into large mixing bowl
- Dice apples and add to the other fruit as you cut them to prevent apples from turning brown and stir.
Add remaining ingredients and toss well to combine.
Refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight before serving.
- ( * ) when I make this at home I honestly don't measure these ingredients. the amounts I listed are approx measurements. Feel free to adjust more or less to your families preference.
