We feel that making the food look good... makes the children want to try it! Make every meal special and fun! We make this for meals at home or to take to pot lucks or picnics... with a few minutes of time arranging the food, you end up with a beautiful presentation! Always a big hit! You can decide how much of any one ingredient you want on your platters depending on your amount of guests. We also do this with other fruits and vegetables like fresh green beans, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelon, cantalope, blueberries, etc. Play With Your Food ! xo

Ingredients

  • FRUIT TRAYS
  • 1 small watermelon (sliced to desired shapes and sizes)
  • 3 large oranges, seedless (sliced)
  • 1 - 2 large pineapple
  • 2 bunches grapes, seedless
  • 1 quart strawberries
  • VEGETABLE TRAYS
  • 1 package baby carrots
  • 1 medium broccoli, bunch, (trim to florets)
  • 1 medium head cauliflower (trim to florets)
  • MEAT AND CHEESE TRAYS
  • 1-2 pound favorite luncheon sausage(s)
  • 1/2 pound each: swiss, hot pepper, sharp cheddar, colby jack cheeses

How To Make party trays!

  • Gavin's Birthday 2011.
    Step 1
    Rinse and pat dry all fruits and vegetables. Cut the top off of pineapple, set on platter for garnish. Slice the oranges. Arrange your fruits as desired.
  • Step 2
    Place Carrots, Broccoli and Cauliflower florets in a serving dish. *** You can use other vegetables as well.
  • Step 3
    Slice meat and cheese into desired shapes and arrange on a plate or platter.
  • Step 4
    Guests are impressed with the beautiful presentations!
