One salad I remember fondly was just thinly sliced cabbage with pineapple chunks and pecans. Momma made dressing with mayonnaise, vinegar and a little sugar.

- 1/2 - cabbage head
- 1 can pineapple chunks 8.25 oz.
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 - lemon, squeezed
- 1 tablespoon sugar
How To Make cabbage pineapple salad

Step 1Slice the cabbage thin and place in bowl

Step 2Drain juice, then scatter chunks of pineapple over cabbage

Step 3Toss in chopped pecans

Step 4Make a dressing with sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and sugar to taste
