For a Litha feast. In honor of the Soltice season

I first had this when Zephra brought it to our Litha celebration in 2008. It has been a favorite ever since.

Ingredients

  • 3 c
    mixed greens
  • 2/3 c
    blackberries, cut in two if large
  • 1/2 c
    toasted slivered almonds
  • DRESSING

  • 1/2 c
    blackberries
  • 1/4 c
    poppy seeds
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar

How to Make Litha Backberry Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. put together the salad
  2. blend all the dressing ingredients together in blender, pour over salad,enjoy.
  3. put dressing on salad when ready to serve
