This is my take on Waldorf Salad made with jello. My family and friends like it and it holds up well on the dinning or buffet table.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 3 ounces pkg. lemon jello
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped red apple, skin on seeds out
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery, strings removed
  • 1/4 cup walnut pieces

How To Make holiday cranberry waldorf salad

  • Step 1
    Heat 1 cup cranberry juice just to boiling. Dissolve jello in hot juice. Add remaining juice and salt. Chill until consistency of egg whites, about an hour and a half. Fold in celery, nuts and apples. Pour into a bowl or mold and chill until firm. May be poured into 6 individual molds, if desired.
