SIMPLE and my kids' favorite. I made a different fruit salad one year and my youngest son, Joe, had a fit. "Mom, this is not what I asked for!" Oops, mom was in deep poo poo!!

Ingredients
- GRANDMA'S FRUIT SALAD
- 2 large cans fruit cocktail drained (extra cherries, please)
- 1 large can crushed pineapple or chunks ( well drained)
- 2 cups each, red and green grapes (seedless) Can cut in half
- 1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 small bag mini marshmallows
- 1 large tub whipped topping, thawed
- 2 large bananas, sliced or diced
- - optional: any variety of fruit you desire is good to use: berries, blueberries, strawberries, apples, etc.
How To Make grandma's fruit salad by freda

Step 1Drain all canned fruit very well. Add all fruits - except bananas - into a large bowl. (Save the bananas 'til serving time.)

Step 2Add marshmallows and whipped topping; toss well to mix. Add in the fresh bananas just before serving.
