This is one of my family's favorite salads. It is great in warm weather.

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked, cubed, chicken breast
- 3 medium red delicious apples
- 3 medium granny smith apples
- 1 cup white and/or red seedless grapes
- 2 cups pineapple chucks, fresh or canned
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ground ginger
How To Make gingered chicken and fruit salad

Step 1Dice the apples.

Step 2Cut grapes in half.

Step 3In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and ginger until well blended. Set aside.

Step 4In a large bowl, place chicken, fruit and almonds. Toss lightly to mix.

Step 5Add mayonnaise mixture and stir until ingredients are coated evenly.

Step 6Store covered in refrigerator.

Step 7Serve as a salad or stuffed in pita pockets. You can leave out the chicken for a side salad.
