I got this recipe at Seattle Pacific U. 40+ years ago from our Home Ec. teacher, and it has been a favorite of my family ever since. It doubles easily. It is simple,easy, and better the second day - if that happens. My son-in-law even requests it at Thanksgiving. Kids can make it easily, or even husbands.

Ingredients For five cup salad

  • 1 c
    pineapple, crushed
  • 1 c
    canned mandarin oranges
  • 1 c
    sour cream, fat-free
  • 1 c
    coconut, flaked
  • 1 c
    marshmallows, mini

How To Make five cup salad

  • 1
    Drain the fruit well,then put in large bowl and add the other three ingredients.

    Stir well, making sure everything is well distributed
  • 3
    Pour out into pretty 1 1/2 quart bowl and serve.
