This recipe brought back memories of going to grandma's for the holiday's as she always made the best fruit salad! It is now my oldest son's favorite holiday dessert and still mine. I hope you enjoy as much as we do We like to replace the cranberries with sliced bananas which I soak in the pineapple juice This is not my picture

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberry halves
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups diced unpeeled apples
  • 1 cup seedless green grapes, halved
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 20 ounces pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1 cup whip cream (cool whip)
  • - flaked coconut

How To Make ambrosia waldorf salad

  • Step 1
    Combine cranberries and sugar, set aside
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl combine all the fruits and pecans; add cranberries and mix well. Fold in the whip cream; cover and chill. Sprinkle on the flaked coconut prior to serving
