My mother loved this salad. It's not mine, I got it from Taste Of Home magazine. But we have made it so many times, it feels like mine. My mom has recently passed away, so when I make this salad, I think of her.
1In a small bowl, combine cranberries and sugar. In a large bowl, combine the marshmallows, apples, grapes, pecans and pineapple. Add cranberries and mix well. Fold in whipped cream. Cover and refrigerate. Sprinkle with coconut before serving.
