Not your average chicken salad -- this one packs a punch with delicious horseradish.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups breast meat from a rotisserie chicken (or you can prepare your own chicken)
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped fine
  • 2 - ribs celery, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans, chopped
  • 2/3 cup light mayonnaise
  • 2-3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

How To Make chicken salad with a kick

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
