basil chicken salad

Some students at my school that I was attending was having a mode party for some students who was graduating. They asked everyone to bring in a small dish. Being that I can't turn down the chance to share a good recipe.I made this one and I can tell you none was left to bring home.It turn out to be a great recipe.My teacher keep asking me to make her a personal one for her self. LOL

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped cooked chicken (you can use boneless,skinless chicken breast) season breast with salt and pepper and cook the breast for 1 hour in a 350 oven until juices run clear. let the breast cool down so that you can chop up into medium size pieces.
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves (if you don't have fresh, you can use 1 tbsp. of dry basil
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • - dash of pepper

How To Make basil chicken salad

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients until combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve
