Adapted from Sandy's Kitchen. We like to use Oikos brand Greek yogurt.

  • 2 c
    finely diced cooked chicken breast
  • 1/2 c
    2% plain greek yogurt
  • 1 medium
    avocado, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 - 2 dash(es)
    hot sauce, your favorite - we use jalapeno sauce
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    lime juice, fresh squeezed
  • 2 Tbsp
    sliced almonds

How to Make Avocado Chicken Salad


  1. Sauté’ chicken until done, set aside
  2. Chop all vegetables
  3. Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bow
  4. Refrigerate until ready to serve
  5. Split the chicken salad in half and serve on your favorite greens
  6. Divide and sprinkle sliced almonds over both servings
