Adapted from Sandy's Kitchen. We like to use Oikos brand Greek yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely diced cooked chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup 2% plain greek yogurt
  • 1 medium avocado, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 - 2 dashes hot sauce, your favorite - we use jalapeno sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoon lime juice, fresh squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds

How To Make avocado chicken salad

  • Step 1
    Sauté’ chicken until done, set aside
  • Step 2
    Chop all vegetables
  • Step 3
    Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bow
  • Step 4
    Refrigerate until ready to serve
  • Step 5
    Split the chicken salad in half and serve on your favorite greens
  • Step 6
    Divide and sprinkle sliced almonds over both servings
