THIS IS A VARIATION OF A RECIPE I FOUND. WHEN I DON'T HAVE ALL THE INGREDIENTS CALLED FOR I ALTER TO FIT WHAT I HAVE AVAILABLE. MY HUSBAND LOVED THIS ONE AND SO DID I!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 pound ground hamburg
  • 1 bunch iceburg lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup green and black olives chopped
  • 1 package mexican blend shredded cheese
  • 1 cup french or thousand island dressing
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1-2 cup crushed nacho or frito chips(i prefer the chilli cheese)
  • 1-2 tablespoon sweet baby rays signature sauce
  • 1 jar salsa

How To Make robin's taco salad

  • Step 1
    BROWN HAMBURG IN FRYING PAN AND DRAIN EXCESS FAT.
  • Step 2
    ADD TACO SEASONINGS, DRESSING,SIGNATURE SAUCE,AND WATER. LET SIMMER ON LOW FOR 10 -15 MINUTES.
  • Step 3
    WHILE MEAT IS SIMMERING CHOP VEGGIES AND PLACE IN BOWL.
  • Step 4
    TOSS IN CRUSHED CHIPS, CHEESE AND MIX.
  • Step 5
    WHEN MEAT IS DONE AND COOLED SLIGHTLY, ADD TO SALAD AND MIX WELL
  • Step 6
    ADD SALSA AND SOUR CREAM. (I LIKE TO ADD SOUR CREAM AND SALSA IN THE MIX WITH MEAT.)
  • Step 7
    SERVE AND ENJOY!
