If you are worried about whats in your toothpaste you can make your own and then you will know what's in it. I have to admit I found this a tad salty, but it surely cleaned my teeth well. I used coconut oil in mine, it tasted nice.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (finely ground)
  • 1 - drop-peppermint, spearmint, sweet orange, coconut, or cinnamon bark essence oil
  • - a few drops of filtered tap water
  • 1/8 teaspoon xylitol (ground up fine, this is optional, xylitol won't harm your teeth)

How To Make easy home made toothpaste

  • Step 1
I put the dry ingredients in my magic bullet to make sure it was finely ground. It worked perfect. Then I put it in a small dish and mixed the liquids.
  • Step 2
You should get a thick, smooth paste. It shouldn't be runny since it has to stay on your toothbrush.
  • Step 3
Dip the tooth brush in the paste and use it as you would use any toothpaste.
  • Step 4
    Enjoy!
