I went looking for a homemade hypoallergenic skin cream for extremely dry skin. I found this: creativelysouthern.com/...njMyz.dpbs

I did not want to use anything with petroleum jelly so I went looking for natural alternatives. These ingredient substitutions for that recipe are what I found.

  • 30 oz
    johnson's vanilla oatmeal baby lotion
  • 7-9 oz
    waxelene made of organic soy oil, beeswax, organic rosemary oil, and natural vitamin e (from soybeans)
  • 4 oz
    fruit of the earth vitamin e skin care cream
  • 8 oz
    extra virgin coconut oil
  • 8 jar(s)
    8 ounce wide mouth ball canning jars

How to Make Homemade Skin Cream


  1. Put all 4 ingredients in a large bowl
  2. Mix everything in a large mixing bowl. I used my hand mixer to combine everything until it was smooth and creamy.
  3. Spoon the mixture into your jars and that’s it.
