tasty little peanut butter treats for your dog
My dog loves these, and I love what it has IN them. Because I use flax, wheat germ and oats pretty much every morning, I usually have these things on hand anyways. We can both enjoy a good treat, and only I will know its good for him.

Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup peanut butter, low sugar, creamy, natural is best
How To Make tasty little peanut butter treats for your dog
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a baking sheet.
-
Step 2Mix up the flour, oats and flax seeds in a large mixing bowl. Add the peanut butter and stir in the water.
-
Step 3Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface. You want to add in more flour, little by little, until the dough is no longer sticky. Place a piece of wax paper on the counter and lightly flour it. Place the dough on top, lightly flour again and place another piece of wax paper on top of that before you roll out the dough. This makes it so it does not stick to anything and easier to roll. Roll out the dough until it’s approximately 1/4? thick. Cut into shapes or form with your hands circles. Or you can use your handy dandy pizza cutter to cut the dough into rectangles.
-
Step 4Bake for 20 minutes and then turn your oven off. By allowing them to cool in the oven, you’ll get crunchy biscuits!
