hummingbird food
(1 RATING)
I like to combine just 2 cups of the water with sugar and heat to dissolve, then I add the other 2 cups of room temperature water so it doesn't take so long to cool. Kids especially love to help with this. If they're too young, I would just allow them to measure the water & sugar, add the food coloring, and let them pour the food into the feeder.

How To Make hummingbird food
-
Step 1Heat water with sugar, stir until dissolved. Add red food coloring. Allow to cool before adding to feeder. I like to heat just 2 cups of water with the sugar and stir until dissolved. Then add the remaining 2 cups of water (room temperature or cool) to help cool it quicker.
