beef biscuits for dogs
This is Raptor's new favorite. This dog won't eat bacon or sausage but loves these, go figure. From the time I started them until she was eating them she stayed with the oven. Once she had one it was freaky how she pushed for more. Maybe it was the salt. Not sure if she needed extra salt or was nuts when she got it.

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon (rounded) beef base
- 1/8 cup bacon grease
- 1 teaspoon flax seed
- 1/4 cup powdered milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/8 cup quick oats or wheat germ
- 1/2 cup flour (i used spelt)
How To Make beef biscuits for dogs
-
Step 1Warm the bacon grease until liquid, add beef base, egg and mix well. Add flax seed and oats, mix, add milk, mix and add flour and mix until it holds shape
-
Step 2Roll into a round cylinder and slice into 7 equil pieces.
-
Step 3Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes for softer biscuits and 15 for crunchy ones.
-
Step 4Can make them smaller for little dogs. cook less time. Note due to the salt content in these from the beef base do not feed them all in a sitting. I suggest 1-2 cookies for a large dog
